Cinco de Mayo Cocktail: Campos Cooler
Welcome to our Cinco de Mayo edition of Market Cocktails. For those of you that are unfamiliar, Market Cocktails is a series a of killer cocktail recipes that uses only ingredients & products that you could get at your local grocery store, bottleshop or bodega. Since our team is currently stuck at home & on a budget, we wanted to make sure that we could offer a little help for other folks out there who were in the same boat. It is mind-boggling just how many creative and delicious drinks are out there that only utilize the simplest of ingredients, so never let anyone tell you otherwise. With that said, this next drink is ginger & cucumber driven tequila drink that leaves you feeling cool & refreshed, but with just a bit of ginger bite. It is named after a Mexican soccer legend & was invented by Andrew Mitchell during his time at Rickhouse in San Francisco, where it quickly became a house favorite.
