Piña Colada Riff: Piña Verde

While liqueurs are normally relegated to the backseat when it comes to cocktails, with  the base spirit getting all the shine. In my recipe below, the liqueur takes center stage, with no base spirit at all. There is no rum or gin or anything else to distract you from the herbal deliciousness that is Chartreuse. While it is definitely unconventional that is part of what makes the drink so cool. One sip & I think you will agree.

PINA VERDE
1.5oz Green Chartreuse
1.5oz Pineapple Juice
.5oz Lime Juice
.75oz Coconut Cream

METHOD: Pebble Ice or Blended
GLASSWARE: Hurricane or Goblet
GARNISH: Lime Wheel & Pineapple Leaves
