Frosty Tequila Cocktail: Beach Cruiser

This is a little something that I came up with for the opening menu of Polite Provisions back in the day & its still a drink that I make for people all of the time. It has the timeless combination of absinthe & orange bitters, which you find in so many classic cocktails. The name came about because when you are at the beach, the beach cruiser is always the preferred mode of transportation, and this drink can definitely get you where you need to go.

BEACH CRUISER
1oz Blanco Tequila
1oz Mezcal
.75oz Lime
.75oz Grenadine
2 dash Orange Bitters
2 dash Absinthe

METHOD: Pebbles or Crushed Ice 
GLASSWARE: Hurricane
GARNISH: Orange & Cherry
