Of all the cities that we have chosen our favorites spots for, Paris has got to be one of the hardest ones to narrow down, as it is hard to find a city that takes it’s food & drink more seriously. In fact, sometimes it feels as though it is difficult to find a bad meal here. In addition to the food, it is difficult to find another country that has contributed more to the world of beverage than France. Whether you are looking for wine, liqueurs or spirits, Paris has it in abundance, both in quality and in quantity. Although, long considered a country of only wine drinkers, over the last 10 or so, the city has exploded with incredible places to grab a world-class cocktail.

The bars

Le Mary Celeste

Is it more of a restaurant than a bar or more of a bar than a restaurant? Does really it matter? All we know is that no matter if you decide to go with wine or cocktails, you will be leaving with a full belly & eagerness to return.

Not necessarily the spot for the conventional baguette, but rather for those with a sweet tooth. To put it in perspective, we ate a pistachio eclair here about six months ago that we still think about several times a week. It was that good.

If you happen to love melted cheese & dipping things into said cheese than you have found paradise. Not a light meal, so don’t come if you are only craving a snack. Great for groups.

This cafe is so tiny that you could walk right by it if you didn’t know it was there, but that’s better for you, cause it makes it easier to find a seat in this snug little coffee shop. Amazing third wave coffee to cure your jet lag, hangover or possibly both.
